About
Nathan A. Jacobs is Assistant Professor of Religion & Philosophy at John Brown University. He has taught at Trinity International University, Carthage College, Calvin College and Seminary. He has published numerous articles on Patristic theology, Modern philosophy, and contemporary philosophy of religion in journals such as Modern Theology, Faith and Philosophy, and Philosophia Christi. He is co-author of In Defense of Kant’s Religion (Indiana University Press, 2008), which was nominated for the American Philosophical Association's 2009 Young Scholars Book Prize and the American Academy of Religion's 2009 Textual Analysis Prize. He is co-editor of The Persistence of the Sacred in Modern Thought (University of Notre Dame Press, 2012), and he is currently co-authoring The Critique of Kant's Rational Religion, co-editing Immanuel and Kant, and authoring In Defense of Leibniz's Theodicy.
